Parking Ban Lifted In Arlington

Officials remind residents that they must leave at least 10 feet between their cars and the street for passing vehicles.

While the city has been lifting its on-street parking ban on a street-by-street basis for weeks, the City of Arlington tweeted on Wednesday that on-street parking is no longer banned anywhere, technically, in Arlington. However, officials emphasize that parked cars that don’t leave 10 feet for other vehicles to get by them will still be ticketed and towed, and some streets don’t have enough room to accommodate that yet. This means drivers will have to rely on their own discretion when parking.
