• New School Bus Safety Enforcement Program Coming To Arlington (patch.com) — Arlington is rolling out camera-equipped school buses this school year, allowing police to ticket drivers who illegally pass buses with flashing red lights and extended stop arms. The program, enabled by a state law Arlington accepted in 2025, will mail citations to vehicle owners after review by the police traffic unit and aims to boost student safety around local bus routes.
