The new year brought some changes in the studio including Stoneware Clay and Glaze Buckets. What is that? Well, I'm glad you asked.
Stoneware Clay is the true potters clay. This is the stuff that is easier to work with and after we fire it in our kilns, the pottery is more durable. You can bake with it, toss it in the microwave and the dishwashers. You can't do that with the stuff you get from the Paint Your Own Pottery places.
Our students are telling us that they love the new stoneware clay. It is light beige in color and fires to a soft beige.
We also now have Glaze Dunk Buckets. These are buckets of glazes where you 'dunk' your pottery and voila…glazing is done! Layer the colors for different effects. Find your look and style. Become a potter!
We only offer the Glaze Dunk Buckets to students enrolled in classes so take a class to get the full experience.
We are a Pottery Studio and Glass Fusing Art Studio.
We welcome all ages to come learn these two forms of art.
