Sons of Liberty Distillery Declares Monthly Freedom Fridays Beginning Friday, March 25, 2016

Sons of Liberty Spirits distillery announces monthly Freedom Fridays spirit sampling from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Rhode Island’s favorite craft distillers, Sons of Liberty Spirits Co., is proud to declare its latest monthly event series: Freedom Fridays. The tasting event, which will take place at the Sons of Liberty distillery on the last Friday of every month, will offer an assortment of the their award-winning spirits, delicious eats, live music, games and a great way to close out the month.

Whether you’re ready to start a revolution, or you’re just looking for a fun night out, all are welcome to cry freedom at Sons of Liberty’s Freedom Fridays. An introduction of a new, limited edition whiskey will highlight the inaugural event on March 25th and the evening will also feature a tasting from a selection of the distillery’s finest spirits including: American Single Malts - Battle Cry and Uprising – along with the craft beers from which they were distilled; Belgian Wheat Act Gin, a sample cocktail of your choice and a souvenir Sons of Liberty whiskey glass.

The inaugural Freedom Friday, which is an extension of the distillery’s weekly Friday Night Flights tastings from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., will feature live music from James DeSalvo III (James and the Giants) and mouth-watering Pulled Pork Reubens topped with Battle Cry Whiskey Braised Sauerkraut available for purchase from Eddies BBQ. Tasting tickets are $10 and can be procured upon entry at the distillery.
