Summer Savings, Yard Sales, Driveway Paving and the Farmers' Market

This week, Arlington Patch's "Frugal Family" scoured our local sources to come up with great deals on summer savings at Walgreens, Johnnie's Foodmasters mid-week specials, yard sales in Arlington, Arlington's premier driveway paver, and heralds the soon-to-be return of the Arlington Farmers' Market.

Summer Savings at Walgreens

• Deal: This week, Walgreens is tossing up a few beginning-of-the-summer sales items including cheap flip-flops, sun-screen and buy-one-get-one-free sunglasses. Along with this, soda and snack specials abound.

Johnnie's FoodMasters Mid-Week Specials

• Deal: If you're looking to throw that grad a party, Johnnie's FoodMasters has a mid-week sale on a host of party foods to keep the celebration affordable. $5.99/lb on shrimp, three sausages for $5, 2 for $10 on racks of ribs and $1 for a liter of soda.
• Good through: May 24-26 only

• Deal: Patch has started a new column that will brood well with all you Frugal Family followers out there. This  shows the neighborhoods and people who are doing some spring cleaning. Arlington's Farmers' Market

• Deal: That's right, the beginning of summer brings with it the Arlington Farmer's Market taking place in the Russell Common Parking Lot in Arlington Center. Everything kicks off every Wednesday starting the week of June 10 from 2-6:30pm.
• Good Through: June 10 through late October
