Tewksbury Man Charged with OUI
The 20-year-old man was found asleep behind the wheel of his parked pickup truck, police said.
A 20-year-old Tewksbury man was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol after police allegedly found him asleep behind the wheel of his parked pickup truck on Hillsdale Road in Arlington.
Patrick W. Tauro, of Ferncroft Road, Tewksbury, was arrested just before 1 a.m. He appeared intoxicated at the scene, failed field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol content over the legal limit on two breath tests, according to police.
Tauro’s pickup was parked, but its engine was running, police said.
