Weave-a-Sukkah

Gather with other families for a Jewish holiday celebration of Sukkot at Whittemore-Robins House Lawn in Arlington.

Gather with other families for a Jewish holiday celebration of Sukkot at Whittemore-Robins House Lawn (700 Massachusetts Avenue) in Arlington on Sunday, September 27 from 10-11:30am. Particpants will weave a communal “sukkah” (temporary dwelling) together as a symbol of the Sukkot holiday. Kids will also make their own Sukkot decoration to take home, make-their-own edible sukkahs, hear stories of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), and receive a free T-shirt from event partner, the Housing Corporation of Arlington. Geared for families with children ages 2+ years. Cost is $20/family. Register at bostonjcc.org/mnsukkot2015. Please register by September 24. For more information, contact metronorth@jccgb.org or 617-841-8009. All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts.
