In a well balanced attack Attleboro defeated Sharon, 45-23. Beth Clifton began the scoring with a steal and drive to the hoop. Sharon was successful in their next two shots and held a 4-2 lead, the only time the Eagles would be out in front. Kerry Beland knotted the score at 4 all and two baskets by Clifton and a put back by Emily Houle ended the first quarter with Attleboro holding a 10-4 lead.
Houle hit a 3 ball to open the second quarter and free throws by Kim Runey, Bri LaPlume and Beland gave Attleboro a 6 point advantage. A three by Runey and lay-up by Clifton ended the half with the Bombardiers increasing their lead to 22-11. All of Sharon’s 11 points were scored inside by O’Driscoll.
Attleboro took command in the second half, outscoring Sharon 19-4. 5 points by LaPlume, 6 by Beland, 2 by Houle and back to back 3’s by Sarah Deyo ended the quarter with Attleboro holding a comfortable 41-15 lead.

In the final 8 minutes of play Coach Traversi went to her bench and at the buzzer the Bombardiers had earned their 12th victory of the season.
Emily Houle was tops in scoring for Attleboro with 10 points. Kerri Beland followed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Bri LaPlume and Beth Clifton balanced the scoring with 8 points each and LaPlume pulled down a career high 16 rebounds. Sarah Deyo added 6 points and 8 boards.

On Tuesday Attleboro will take a 12-4 record to Easton, where they will take on Oliver Ames.
