• Child Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Attleboro: Report (patch.com) — An 8-year-old bicyclist from Attleboro was hospitalized after being struck by a car near Pearl and Parker streets Monday afternoon, according to police. The child, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, while the driver stayed at the scene. Attleboro police are continuing to investigate the crash.
   

• Attleboro Pet of the Week—Loki (northstarreporter.com) — Loki, a 5-year-old "Rottiepoo," is waiting for a new home at Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter, which has regular adoption hours several days a week. He's an affectionate, energetic only-pet candidate who comes with training support and even his own Facebook page, making him a strong match for an active Attleboro-area family.
   

• Alaska man arrested more than two years after he allegedly raped a teenage boy in Mass. (bostonglobe.com) — An Alaska man has been arrested in connection with an alleged 2024 sexual assault involving a Massachusetts teenager and is expected to face charges in Attleboro District Court. Investigators say the two met through an online video game before arranging in-person meetings in Mansfield, with the case developing after a friend reported concerns to police.
