Dr. Nick Barone Joins Cape Cod Offices of ARCH Orthodontics in Hyannis & Orleans

APPOINTED TO CAPE COD OFFICES OF ARCH ORTHODONTICS IN HYANNIS AND ORLEANS

(Issued Summer 2012)  -- Nicholas Paul Barone, D.M.D., has joined ARCH Orthodontics, a highly-regarded practice with nine offices south of Boston and on Cape Cod. Dr. Barone is focusing on patients at ARCH’s offices on the Cape in Hyannis and Orleans.

Last January, ARCH Orthodontics assumed the two offices of Cape Cod Orthodontics operated by Dr. Robert Rozene for 50 years.  The appointment of Dr. Barone was announced by Dr. Robert Chavez who founded
ARCH 38 years ago in Stoughton, and by his son Dr. Andrew Chase.

ARCH Orthodontics Cape Cod offices are in Hyannis at 297 Winter Street  -- (508) 775-1401 – and in Orleans

On  his choice of profession, Dr. Barone’s notes that his father is an Orthodontist: “I always respected and admired his role in the community. My mother, sister and I all wore braces, and I faithfully wore my headgear and elastics, as my Orthodontist sat across the dinner table from me!”

Dr. arone says he enjoys his work because “Orthodontic treatment offers the pportunity to develop a great relationship with people of all ages.  I like to think that I offer  more than just straightening teeth even hough that is a great part of the treatment. Especially rewarding and
challenging has been my work with mentally and physically handicapped atients.”

A hode Island native, Dr. Barone earned his udergraduate degree at Franklin ad Marshall College and his D.M.D. degree magna um laude and his Certificate in Orthodontics at Tufts niversity School of Dental Medicine.  He on the Austin Scholarship for Community Outreach, was a member of the Omicron appa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and earned a Tufts Merit
Scholarship.

While at Tufts, Dr. Barone served as a Radiology Clinical
Instructor, on the Dental School Admissions Committee and as an Infection
Control Auditor. As a senior dental student he won an award from the
American Association of Orthodontists, and this past year he
was a Delegate to the AAO’s Council on New and Younger Members.

Dr. Barone’s community service activities include: Ecuador
Dental Mission Trip; Bridge Over Troubled Waters (Boston); Providence Smiles; vlunteer, St, Joseph’s Hospital Children’s Dental Clinic and Joseph Samuels
Dental Center, both in Providence. His is a member of the American Association f Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the American
Dental Association. Recently married, Dr. Barone enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing, fshing.
