Barnstable Police Blotter: Feb. 9

Domestic violence, larcenies and disturbances kept police busy.

The following incidents, accidents and arrests took place in the town of Barnstable.  All information was taken from the log, includes all arrests and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  

Wednesday, February 9 

12:10 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Cape Crossroads Condos at 800 Bearse's Way.

12:22 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Ninety Nine on Route 28.

12:25 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Sea Street and South Street.

3:24 a.m. - A disturbance was reported at Salt Winds Bed & Breakfast at 319 Sea St., Hyannis.

4:07 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at CVS on North Street.

9:22 a.m. - Harassment was reported at 72 Lake St., Cotuit.

9:52 a.m. - Police issued a summons to Timothy Powers of 1040 Falmouth Rd., Marstons Mills for driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without registration and speeding.

10:04 a.m. - A domestic assault and battery was reported at 16 Claus Way, Marstons Mills. Police arrested Francis Rescigno on a warrant, for domestic assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidation of a witness.

10:13 a.m. - An odor was reported at Centerville Elementary School.

10:56 a.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at Cape Cod Hospital Psych Center.

No Time Available - Harassment was reported at ABC Income Tax.

11:00 a.m. - Police assisted in keeping the police at Baybridge Clubhouse.

12:59 p.m. - A missing person was reported at 50 Prince Hinckley Rd., Centerville.

2:36 p.m. - A shoplifting larceny was reported at Ocean State Job Lot on Barnstable Road. 

2:43 p.m. - A shoplifting larceny was reported at BJ's Wholesale Club.

4:05 p.m. - Police responded to an accident with property damage and arrested David Reeder of 49 Hyde Park Rd., Centerville for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating recklessly as to endanger, speeding and moving outside marked lanes. 

4:27 p.m. - A suspicious person was reported at First Baptist Church on Main Street, Hyannis.

No Time Available - Harassment was reported at 99 Rosemary Ln., Centerville. 

6:13 p.m. - Police arrested Patrice Bland of 34 Yarmouth Rd., Hyannis during a motor vehicle stop for driving with a suspended license and on a warrant. 

7:01 p.m. - Police evaluated an individual in the town hall public restroom for protective custody. They placed Douglas Lefebvre of 77 Winter St. in protective custody.

7:24 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 455 Sampsons Rd., Cotuit.

7:33 p.m. - Police arrested a 15-year-old at Area Rentals and Property Management in Hyannis for assault and battery with a knife and receiving stolen property.

7:54 p.m. - Domestic harassment was reported at 8 Fresh Holes Rd., Hyannis.

8:04 p.m. - Police responded to a fight at Hess at 317 Falmouth Rd.

8:12 p.m. - A fight was reported at Hyannis Youth and Community Center.

8:33 p.m. - A intoxicated person disturbance was reported at 104 Chestnut St., Hyannis. 

9:05 p.m. - A larceny was reported at 370 Ocean St. Police arrested Christopher McGraw of 47 Gleneagle Dr., Centerville for larceny of property less than $250. 

10:21 p.m. - A residential breaking and entering was reported at 434 Skunknet Rd., Centerville.

10:58 p.m. - A disturbance was reported at Hyannis Package Store.

11:05 p.m. - Police provided medical assistance to the hospital at 50 Yarmouth Rd.

11:55 p.m. - Domestic threats were reported at 80 Danvers Way. Police arrested Richard Perry of 29 Roberts St., New Bedford for domestic assault and battery, assault and battery by a dangerous weapon and threat to commit domestic violence murder.
