‘Project Un-Gun’ Firearm Turn-In Program this Saturday at YPD
Even Barnstable residents can turn-in unwanted firearms.

On Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Yarmouth Police Department will again serve as a collection point for anyone who has unwanted firearms or ammunition.
This is the fifteenth year that we have sponsored Project-Un which has safely collected hundreds of assorted unwanted firearms and types of ammunition.
Having a firearm or ammunition in your home is a big responsibility and demands the highest level of respect and security. If anyone finds that they no longer want the responsibility of having a firearm or ammunition in their home please contact us and we will appropriately dispose of the items in accordance with Massachusetts laws.
