BOSTON, MA — Trillium Brewing Company is opening a new outdoor beer garden along Boston’s waterfront later this month.
Trillium Garden, created in partnership with the Boston Harbor Hotel, is scheduled to open May 19 at 70 Rowes Wharf on the edge of Boston Harbor.
The Boston Harbor Hotel, a longtime luxury waterfront destination in the city, is known for its seasonal harborfront events and outdoor summer programming at Rowes Wharf.
The new open-air space will feature views of the harbor and marks the brewery’s first location offering all of its beverage products in one place, including draft and canned beers, canned cocktails and spirits.
The beer garden will also feature a light snack menu at opening, with a larger food menu expected to launch in June as the hotel begins its annual “Summer in the City” programming.
In addition to food and drinks, Trillium Garden plans to broadcast World Cup matches throughout the space.
Initially, the outdoor venue will operate Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 2 to 9 p.m. The garden will be closed on Sundays and Mondays for now, though hours are expected to expand later in the summer.
Trillium Brewing first opened in March 2013 on Congress Street in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood. Since its conception, the brewery has grown to a team of more than 300, according to the business.
Trillium now operates several Massachusetts locations, including breweries and taprooms in Fenway and Canton.
