Boston Resident Recognized as an “Emerging Leader”

The Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts (REBA) honored Robinson+Cole lawyer Kendra L. Berardi as an “Emerging Leader” during the association’s annual meeting on November 6, 2017. Ms. Berardi is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Business Litigation Group where she focuses her practice on real estate litigation and complex commercial litigation.

Ms. Berardi advises and represents clients in a wide range of disputes related to real property, including land use, zoning, construction defects, utilities, fraudulent title and conveyances, bad faith and coverage, banking and lending, and commercial leasing. She also counsels clients on issues related to condominium formation, management, and operation, and she mediates and litigates condominium-related disputes. Ms. Berardi litigates and counsels clients regarding complex business disputes, including claims for breach of contract and business torts such as fraud, misrepresentation, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and class action litigation.

With regard to REBA, Ms. Berardi has served on its Board of Directors since 2014 and is also a member of the Executive Committee and chair of the Continuing Education Committee. In 2013, she helped to create the New Lawyers Section and served as its chair from 2014 to 2016.

The Emerging Leader Award honors young or new leaders within REBA’s membership rolls. The award’s recipients demonstrate a level of involvement, excellence, collegiality, ethics and integrity within the Massachusetts real estate bar that exceeds expectations for practitioners of their experience level.
