The Lobster Shack at Michael’s Harborside Returns for the Season this April

The Lobster Shack at Michael’s Harborside will officially open for the 2026 season on Friday, April 17, serving fresh New England flavors from its seasonal takeout window located outside the main entrance of the restaurant.

Easily accessible from the Newburyport Rail Trail and nearby marinas, the Lobster Shack is an ideal stop for everything from a quick bite to a relaxed lunch or sunset dinner by the water. Now in its fourth season, the Shack continues to expand its offerings with a full lineup of breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites.

Morning offerings include $0.99 small hot/iced coffee, craft coffee and tea, smoothies, avocado toast, breakfast burritos and sandwiches, bagels, and more. As the day continues guests can enjoy classic New England staples such as lobster rolls, clam chowder, wraps, fried clams, salads, ice cream and more.

The Lobster Shack is also pet friendly, featuring pup cups for four-legged visitors along with outdoor games like cornhole and giant Jenga.
