Boston Landing Announces Expanded Summer Movie Series

BOSTON (May 28, 2026) – Boston Landing in Brighton is unveiling its summer programming lineup, bringing nostalgic movie nights and community-focused entertainment to the neighborhood. Presented in partnership with Rockland Trust, guests are invited to enjoy a variety of free community events at the Guest Street campus throughout the summer. 

All events are open to the public and free for all ages with themed pre-parties before each show! All Movie Nights take place at Athletes Park at Boston Landing, a community green space located in front of 96 Guest Street (Rail Stop Restaurant) and across from the TRACK. These are rain or shine events. In the event of inclement weather, the screenings will move indoors to the TRACK at new balance. 

General admission seating is first come, first served. RSVP via Eventbrite is required to receive event updates and reminders. For dinner or drinks before or after the event, guests can explore Boston Landing's Restaurant & Dining. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and settle in for a relaxed evening under the stars. 

All movie titles are subject to change. Below is an anticipated schedule:

June 25, 2026: “50 First Dates”

6:30 P.M. - Pre-Party Begins 

A live DJ will set the tone for the evening as guests relax on the green and soak in the summer vibes. 

Complimentary concessions will be available while supplies last, from Broken Records and Far Out Ice Cream!

A full cash and credit bar serviced by Rail Stop will be available, featuring specialty tropical-inspired cocktails from Rumhaven. Boston Landing will also debut a community art project during the event. Registration is required for entry but admission is free: register here

8:30 P.M. - Movie Screening 

The film begins at dusk on the outdoor big screen. 

July 23, 2026:  Christmas in July with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

  • Movie: 8:15 P.M.

August 20, 2026: “Rocky”

  • Pre-Party: 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. - more details and Eventbrite link to come 
  • Movie: 7:30 P.M.
