BOSTON, MA — Calling all Boston chefs! Two wholesale businesses, famed for their fresh fish and quality cuts, have teamed up to open a specialty store in Boston's Seaport neighborhood.

Boston Provisions, a store offering high-quality meat and seafood, has officially opened its doors in Boston. The market, inside a new building at 1 Boston Wharf, is a combination of two longtime Massachusetts-based food purveyors: Wulf’s Fish and Savenor’s Butchery.

Wulf’s Fish was founded in 1926 as a retail fish market in Brookline and now serves restaurants and cooks in Boston. In 2024, the fish company acquired Savenor’s Butchery, one of the country’s premier gourmet butchers that opened in Cambridge in 1939.

Plus, all products in the store will mirror what Wulf’s Fish and Savenor’s supply to their restaurant and wholesale customers.

“Boston Provisions Market will meet a need in the Seaport as a place to source premium meat and seafood that cannot be found anywhere else in the neighborhood,” said Mike Moniz, CEO of Boston Provisions, in a news release. “We are excited to bring the legacy brands of Wulf’s Fish and Savenor’s Butchery to a new and growing part of the city.”
