Las Vegas Shooter Looked At Boston As Possible Target: Reports
Boston Police said they are aware of this now and are working with investigators on the Las Vegas shooting, according to reports.

BOSTON, MA — The Las Vegas shooter responsible for the biggest mass shooting in modern history — killing at least 59 people and injuring several hundred more this past weekend — researched Boston as a possible alternate location for his attack.
Boston Police officials said they were aware of reports of a connection to the Las Vegas mass shooting incident.
"The Boston Regional Intelligence Center is in contact with our local and federal law enforcement partners here and in Las Vegas and continues to monitor the situation. There is currently no known threat to the Metro Boston Homeland Security Region related to this incident," said the Boston Police Department in a statement. "The BPD has and will continue to take proper security measures to protect all public venues and gatherings in the city."

According to NBC, Stephen Paddock looked into various hotels in the Fenway area of Boston, but police told reporters he hadn't visited as far as they could tell.

City officials and police today said the city was not in any imminent danger.
Patch reported earlier that Paddock may have been eyeing other concerts, including Lollapalooza in Chicago in August, where he booked rooms starting the day the four-day alternative music festival ended, at a hotel overlooking the Grant Park concert venue but never showed.

Police found more than 45 guns in Paddock's possession at three different locations. He was found in the hotel room with 12 legal firearms and equipment that essentially converted semi-automatic weapons into automatic weapons.
