Where MA's Biggest Lottery Winners Bought Their Tickets
This year has seen some big-time winners, but nothing compares to tonight's Mega Millions jackpot. See where the winners bought tickets.

Massachusetts isn't exactly due to win a historic Powerball prize. Last August, Mavis Wanczyk, a hospital worker three months shy of retirement, won the largest single-ticket prize in North American lottery history. She bought her $758.7 million winner in Chicopee ... even though the Massachusetts State Lottery originally announced it was sold in a Watertown convenience store.
The prize for Tuesday night's Mega Millions is $1.6 billion. The odds of winning are even longer than the lottery getting who sold a $758 million-winning ticket wrong. But maybe it's worth a shot.

This year has seen some big winners, but nothing close to last summer's winner - and certainly nothing approaching Tuesday night's all-timer of a jackpot.
The lottery has awarded eight prizes of at least $1 million in Massachusetts this year (before taxes, of course.)
