Massachusetts Weather Forecast: Storm Intensifying Through Afternoon, Will Persist into Late Evening
At least one region is almost guaranteed to get hammered, but it looks like there will be enough for everyone.

Saturday's storm will continue into the night and end before approximately 2 a.m., but you may be able to hold off on shoveling until Sunday morning if you need to.
The snow accumulating isn't expected to be the heavy, wet kind that's hard to remove, but it could pile up pretty high, especially in the windy Cape area where snow could be up to a foot and a half. So getting out there and periodically tidying up your sidewalk may be wise.
A blizzard warning, winter storm warning, winter weather advisory, and hazardous weather outlook are in effect across the state. Snow estimates increased up until snow started falling Saturday morning, maxing out at about 18 inches around the Cape, up to foot in the Boston area, and substantial snow all the way out Central Mass.

The blizzard warning is for the Cape and Islands and up the coast a bit to Hingham. That's where the worst of it - the snow and winds - will be.
According to NBC Boston meteorologist Aaron Perry, the snow will increase in intensity as it fills in across southeastern Mass. and Rhode Island by the early afternoon.
