UPDATE: Morning Fire Displaces Fifteen in Dorchester
A two-alarm fire on Barry St. caused an estimated $200,000 in damage.

BOSTON, MA - A two-alarm fire Tuesday morning displaced fifteen, including five children, sent one person to the hospital, and caused hundreds of thousands dollars of damage, the Boston Fire Department said.
The fire department responded to the blaze at 50 Barry St. in Dorchester around 9 a.m. It was reported knocked down about 30 minutes later.
Investigators determined the cause to have been an electrical short circuit in the basement

The person went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the department said. Damage was estimated at $200,000.
The fire started in the basement and extended to the first floor, fire officials said. The building had four apartments, three of which were occupied at the time.
