New Video Documents February Zakim Bridge Crash: Report
The truck was partially dangling off the bridge.
BOSTON, MA — New surveillance footage from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation details a single-vehicle crash that took place on the Zakim Bridge last month, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.
The Nissan truck appears to swerve off to the right in an effort to avoid another vehicle that had stopped in the middle of its lane on the northbound side of Interstate Route 93 on Thursday, Feb. 5. A snowbank and a fence stopped the truck from plummeting 100 feet off the bridge into the roadway below. No one was injured in the incident.
