Nonstop Flights From Boston To Hawaii's Largest Airport Are Back

The announcement is part of Delta's expansion to the Hawaiian Islands.

BOSTON, MA —A popular airline that flies out of Boston Logan International Airport is expanding its network to Hawaii.

Delta will bring back its flight from Logan Airport to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu beginning Dec. 19, 2026, according to a news release from Delta News Hub last week. The changes are part of the airline’s most robust seasonal schedule to date.

The nonstop flight service between Boston and Honolulu will operate daily during peak late-December travel, then transition to four weekly flights for the rest of the winter season.

The return of the Delta flight comes after Hawaiian Airlines announced in November that it would suspend the only nonstop service between Boston and Honolulu. Hawaiian Airlines cited Boston as one of its “underperforming routes”.

Delta’s route will operate on the Airbus A330-300.

Delta also announced it is launching a flight from Minneapolis–St. Paul to Maui. That route will operate during peak holiday and spring break periods, with five weekly flights scheduled through the winter season.

This is just the latest of Delta's expansions. The airline also added nonstop flights from Logan Airport to two European cities last year — Madrid, Spain, and Nice, France. Both flight paths will offer multiple options throughout the week, beginning in May 2026.
