Barnes & Noble, Braintree: February Vacation Week Storytimes

Join us for this February Vacation Week Storytime, Fri. 2/19, @ 11:00 a.m., when we’ll be reading ”What Color is My World?”, a special storytime in celebration of Black History Month. “What Color is My World?”, written by NBA legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, champions a lineup of little-known African-American inventors in this lively, kid-friendly book. (Did you know that James West invented the microphone in your cell phone? )

We’ll also be recognizing the student artists from Braintree Public Schools who participated in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Poster Contest. Their artwork is currently on display in the Kids Department through February.
