Boston Man Charged With Breaking Into Braintree Nursing Home, Stripping Naked

Police say Vincent Dezso broke into a nursing home and took off his clothes.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Boston man accused of breaking into a nursing home in Braintree and entering the room of a 92-year-old patient with dementia has been ordered held on bail.

Vincent Dezso, 40, faces charges of unarmed burglary, trespassing, larceny from a person, open and gross lewdness, possession of class B and E drugs, disturbing the peace, possession of a false vehicle registry document, larceny under $250 and two counts of defacing property, according to the Patriot Ledger. He was ordered held on $50,000 cash bail.

Thursday at about 2:35 a.m., police responded to a report of an unknown man in a room at the Royal Braintree Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Commercial Street. When police arrived, they allegedly found Dezso in his pants. Staff told police they heard a noise in one of the rooms and found a naked Dezso standing behind a 92-year-old woman with dementia. Police found no injuries on the victim and are investigating the possibility of sexual assault.

Deszo is scheduled to return to court March 3.
