Braintree Man Charged in OUI Crash

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree residentfaces drunken driving charges following a crash in town.

Minh B. Lam, 51, of Braintree, was arrested and faces an additional charge of driving with an open container of alcohol, according to the Braintree Police Log.

Early Wednesday morning, police found Lam on West Street following a report of a driver involved in a hit-and-run in Randolph. Police say they found an open bottle of alcohol inside the car and the front of the vehicle was damaged, according to the Patriot Ledger.

Lam was taken into custody at 12:55 a.m.
