Braintree Mayor Announces 'Family Movie Night'

From the Office of Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan, Braintree:

On Thursday evening, July 28th, Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan and the Braintree Recreation and Community Events Department will be hosting a free “Family Movie Night” featuring Star Wars – The Force Awakens. The movie night will be held at French’s Common, adjacent to Braintree Town Hall. The movie will begin at about 8:15pm. Residents are asked to bring a folding lawn chair or a blanket and mosquito repellent.

There will be a “buck-a-buy concession stand selling hot dogs, soft drinks and snacks before and during the movie. There will also be pre-movie entertainment provided by Crystal Entertainment Services featuring a DJ, moonwalk and assorted games with prizes beginning at 6:00pm.

In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown in the Horace Cahill Auditorium at Braintree Town Hall at 8:15pm with doors opening at 7:30pm. For further information, stop by or call the Recreation Office at 781-794-8902.
