At 6:02 p.m., police responded to multiple 911 calls for a motorist slumped over the wheel of her vehicle in the area of 25 Quincy Ave.
Responding officers found Coyne allegedly leaning against her car, surrounded by several people who stopped to render aid. Witnesses told officers that Coyne allegedly backed her car into the northbound lane of Quincy Avenue and proceeded southbound before correcting herself and entering the southbound lane. While traveling south, Coyne was swerving from side to side and crossed over the centerline of the road. Coyne eventually pulled to the side of the road, narrowly missing striking the curb and then sat in traffic with her body slumped over the wheel.

A female passenger was also passed out in the vehicle and a four-year-old child was sitting in a car seat in the back seat. The car seat was later found to not be properly seat belted into the seat.
A 58-year-old Weymouth woman, concerned for Coyne’s safety and that of her passengers, removed the keys from the ignition and placed them in her pocket. When Coyne came to, she demanded her keys back and a struggle ensued. Coyne retrieved her keys and a 63-year old Hanover man then took control of the keys and both Coyne and her female passenger, who woke up, struggled with him for possession of the keys.
Officer William Cushing Jr. placed Coyne under arrest after concluding that she may have been under the influence of some type of drug.
The female passenger, Alyssa Partsch, 22, of Weymouth, was allowed to leave, but after it was discovered that she gave officers a false name and her true name was learned, officers discovered that she had an active warrant for her arrest. The Weymouth Police Department was contacted and she was subsequently located and arrested on the warrant.
