Braintree Police to Host National Night Out 2016
The event is set for Aug. 2 at Braintree Town Hall.

BRAINTREE, MA — On Aug. 2 from 3-6 p.m., the Braintree Police Department will host National Night Out at Braintree Town Hall. This year, there will be two obstacle bounce house for smaller children, a dunk tank, snow cone machines, ice cream, hot dogs, burgers, free physical therapy check-ups, performances by Keane O'Brien Academy of Irish Dance, and more
This year's touch-a-truck will include vehicles from Braintree police, Braintree fire, the Norfolk County Sheriff's department, and Brewster ambulance.

The "National Night Out" is a community event designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships, and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
