Braintree Police Log: Drug Possession, Assault, and More

September 6

4:50 p.m. - Darren Griffin, 31, was arrested on Granite Street and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. He also had three active warrants.

September 9

6:43 p.m. - Mary Ann Moran, 56, was arrested on Granite Street and charged with larceny over $250 and possession of a Class B substance.

9:01 p.m. - Jonathan Aiken, 20, was arrested on Granite Street and charged with assault and battery, disorderly conduct, assault, and on two warrants.

September 10

1:50 a.m. - Police made two arrests on Union Street. Marryellen Shiner, 44 and Barry Bartel, 44, were charged with possession of a Class B substance. For Bartel, it was a subsequent offense and he also had an active warrant.
