Braintree Trash & Recycling Announce Hazardous Waste Drop-off
The event will take place Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 9 a.m.- noon at the Recycling Center at 257 Ivory St.

Town of Braintree Spring Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off
Saturday, April 29, 2017 - 9 a.m.- noon at the Recycling Center at 257 Ivory St.

Fee of $5 (per five gallons or per five pounds). Cash only.
Acceptable Items: Oil Based Paints-no latex (water based) paint. Those can be dried out and placed in the trash. Kitty litter or sawdust speeds up drying process. Other examples are: mercury items, auto, household, marine, pool chemicals, flea/rat/slug poisons, solvents, turpentine, gasoline/kerosene/fertilizers.

The Friends of the Library will host a fundraiser at this event and will accept electronic items at a minimal cost:
- Computer monitors and laptops - $25
- A.C. window units - $25
- TVs under 25 inches - $25, over 25 inches - $35
- Boat and car batteries - $5 each
- Car tires - $10 each
- Computer towers, keyboards, accessories, cell phones - no charge.
