Braintree Village Residents Take Part in Anti-Bullying Workshop

Mayor Sullivan's Office Recognizes Participants

Youth residents of Braintree Village recently completed four anti-bullying workshops where they learned about the importance of kindness, acceptance and inclusion. The classes, which were organized by Peabody Resident Services, Inc. and led by MassHousing’s Tenant Assistance Program, ACME Teamwork, Inc., included peer interaction, games and activities to simulate different instances of bullying. Program leaders helped participants develop strategies to deal with challenging situations. At the conclusion of the workshop, residents, staff and community leaders joined together for a celebration. During the gathering, Christopher Griffin, assistant to the Mayor of Braintree, presented participants with a citation on behalf of Mayor Joseph Sullivan in recognition of their anti-bullying efforts.
