Branitree Police Asks if You Can Tell Which Gun is Real

BRAINTREE, MA — Of the eight guns shown in this photo, one is real and seven are pellet guns.

Wednesday, the Braintree Police Department posted the photo of the guns on Facebook with a challenge to their followers.

"One of these is real. The 7 others are just a small sample of the numerous pellet guns we have taken off both children and adults during motor vehicle stops, or during the commission of a crime. Can you identify the real firearm?" the department wrote.

Had a change to guess? According to the Braintree Police Department, the real gun is the third one from the left in the bottom row.

"We wanted to show the seriousness these toys can pose especially to officers who have to make split second decisions when confronted with something that looks identical to the real thing," police said.
