Brush Fire 'Flare Ups' Monitored In Braintree Amid Red Flag Warning
The fires have been reported in the Echo Lake area of Braintree, which has been a consistent source of stress for the department recently.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree fire officials reported over the weekend that its firefighters were continuing to monitor brush fire "flare ups" in the Echo Lake area of the town.
"At this time, members are again working to contain fast spreading flare up’s in the Echo Lake area," officials said Sunday. "Smoke is pushing across the East Braintree neighborhood."
This news comes after a severe brush fire broke out in the area last week amid a continuing red flag warning, prompting overnight watch patrols and burning ban in Braintree.

These popup fires come as a red flag warning continues on Tuesday in 12 Massachusetts counties, including Norfolk County.
Braintree officials said this could be a stressor for the department until a "soaking rain" hits the area.
