Braintree resident and Mass. State Athletic Commissioner (MSAC) Patrick Bradley announced today that at the Boston Teachers Union Hall in Dorchester, on St. Patrick's Eve, March 16, 2017, young boxers from Braintree and the Boston area will host fighters from County Donegal in a charity boxing show.
Bradley said, "This will be the third exchange between the Boston Police Athletic League and fighters from the Donegal Boxing Association in Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland. You'll get to see some great young athletes from here and from Ireland. And any proceeds from the exhibition go to support programs for city youth through PAL."
The show is co-sponsored by Boston PAL and Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh.
