Teen Arrested in Braintree Stabbing
One person has been taken into custody, police said.

BRAINTREE, MA — One person has been arrested following an alleged stabbing on Lakeview Avenue.
Police say a teenager was stabbed in the face at abut 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Franklin Street and Lakeview Avenue. The victim, a 19-year-old from Weymouth, was found inside the vehicle at the scene. He was transported to South Shore Hospital.
The suspect, a 17-year-old from Dorchester, was taken into custody after police allegedly observed him running down Union Street towards the Braintree MBTA station. Police say the teen had blood on his hands at the time of the arrest.

Police have not released the identity of either person, who are not from Braintree. The suspect's name is not being released due to his age, police said.
The 17-year-old faces charges of mayhem and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
