UPDATE: Missing Braintree Woman Went to Florida.

Update, Sept. 12, 9:47 p.m. - From the Braintree Police Department: The Braintree Police have received word that the missing elderly woman was picked up by a cab driven to Logan Airport with a destination to Florida. We have not made contact with her and continue to investigate. We thank everyone for their concern and helping us look for her.

BRAINTREE, MA — Police in Braintree are asking for the public's help with finding an elderly woman from Braintree.

Patricia Devine, 74. was last seen between noon and 2 p.m. on Blossom Road. She was wearing a large brown hat, bright green and pink New Balance sneakers, and a white sweater top. She was carrying a black checkered purse and carrying folder.

Police say she could be near the South Shore Plaza area on Granite Street and Forbes Road. She left her house on foot and does not have a vehicle.
