Fire Headquarters Study Committee Announced

From the Town of Braintree: Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan has announced the members who will serve on the Study Committee on the Braintree Fire Department Headquarters Building. The Committee will consist of Fire Chief James O’Brien, Braintree Chief of Staff and Director of Operations Joseph Reynolds, Town Engineer Robert Campbell, and Town Procurement Officer and Grant Writer Barbara Mello. District 2 Councilor Thomas Whalen will serve as the Town Council’s representative to the committee.

“This analysis will identify and report on our options as we move forward with needed improvements to our fire headquarters” said Mayor Sullivan. He noted that this follows infrastructure improvements at the East Braintree Fire Station, Department of Elder Affairs, Police Station, and Schools.

The committee will offer a preliminary report by June 15th.
