Honda Tire Thieves Strike Braintree, Quincy

BRAINTREE, MA — The South Shore has apparently been struck by thieves that are out for tires on newer model Hondas.

In Quincy, the tires were stolen off a Honda Accord on Washington Avenue. That same night, the tires on two cars at the Hyatt Place Hotel at South Shore Place in Braintree were stolen.

All the thefts happened late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Nisha Deepak, the victim in the Quincy incident, told FOX25 that she is not sure why someone would do that.

Investigators confirmed that newer model Hondas were the target. No arrests have been made.
