In the private sector, she has worked in a number of senior management roles at Dunkin Brands, where she's worked since 2007. According to Boericke, her negotiation skills and "fact-based decision-making" are qualities she believes translate well to the Town Council. She said she hopes to balance data and analytics with "heartfelt considerations" to make decisions for Braintree's future.

“To me, it feels like Braintree is truly on the verge of being a world-class community. But it requires visionary leadership, and that’s why I am running. I will be a Town Councilor who is a strong advocate for my constituents, a Councilor who will be proactive about community outreach,” Meredith said. “I will be a bold voice for Braintree’s future, ensuring that development is thoughtful, inclusive, and aligns with our shared vision of the community we aspire to be."

Braintree's preliminary town election is Sept. 17, while the general election is scheduled for Nov. 5.
