No Changes In Investigation Of Suspicious Braintree Hotel Death

BRAINTREE, MA — Two weeks after a woman was found dead in a Braintree hotel room, police are still investigating.

The Norfolk District Attorney's officer told the Patriot Ledger that there has been no status change regarding the investigation into the death of 19-year-old Lawrence resident Renia Rodriguez. Her case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, who has yet to determine the cause of death.

On June 22 just before 8 a.m., police received a 911 call at the Hyatt Place Boston/Braintree on Forbes Road. At the hotel, police found Rodriguez's body.

The case remains under investigation.
