Petersen Pool Hearing Pushed to December

The Planning Board's public hearing for the project began in March.

BRAINTERE, MA — It's going to be a little longer before the Planning Board discusses the Petersen Pool project.

The agenda for the board's Oct. 18 meeting notes that the hearing will be continued without testimony to Nov. 9 at the request of the applicant. The public hearing started in March and hasn't been in front of the board since July.

A November hearing is unlikely, however. Chairman Robert Harnais told the Patriot Ledger he wants a full board before voting on a special permit for the project, pushing the hearing to December. Additionally, the board is waiting for an independent engineering review of the plan.
