BRAINTREE, MA — An audit at the Braintree Police Department shows that pieces of evidence for hundreds of criminal cases have gone missing, a new report says.
Sources tell WCVB that an audit performed by an external group has focused on missing evidence that includes cash, drugs and guns. The audit has gone on for four months and focuses on evidence from 2013 through May of this year.
