Braintree Commuter Rail Trains to Stop Before Boston Friday Morning

BRAINTREE, MA — The signal issue between Back Bay and South Station will keep local trains from the usual final stop Friday morning.

Thursday night, the MBTA announced that only trains on the Franklin and Providence/Stoughton lines will arrive at South Station. All other inbound trains will stop before the usual final destination.

For commuters on the Greenbush Line, the last stop will be Quincy Center while Kingston/Plymouth riders will arrive in Braintree before having to jump on the Red Line.
