Suspicious Man Leads to More Police Patrols in Braintree Highlands

BRAINTREE, MA — Police are increase their presence in the Braintree Highlands area of town following a report of a suspicious man.

Officer Ed Woo wrote on the Braintree Police Department's NextDoor page that they are looking to speak with a man who was last seen acting suspiciously near Standish Avenue. Police say the man was seen hanging around a home that is not his and was possibly observing the school buses at the end of the day.

The suspect is described as a light skinned, Caucasian, full bearded male who was wearing a black jacket and got into a newer black pickup truck.

The suspect is not being looked for in connection with anything violent nor abusive at this time but due to the nature of the reported information, police say they would like to have a conversation with him.

Patrol units have been instructed to perform extra checks in the area.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to call 911.
