Teen Arrested Following Alleged Drinking, Vandalism on Field at Archbishop Williams
Police say a teen drove an ATV through a garage door and did donuts on a turf field.
BRAINTREE, MA — Police say they're seeing more vandalism and underage drinking at the turf field at Archbishop Williams High School.
Saturday night, a teen was arrested and charged with trespassing, breaking and entering, and vandalism. Police say there were more teens at the scene and are reviewing surveillance footage to identify those who were at the field last weekend.
Police say high schoolers took to the field Saturday night with alcohol and caused extensive damage. A garage was broken into and one person drove a four-wheel ATV type quad through the garage door and did donuts on the turf field. The field was ruined in the process, police said.

While the operator of the ATV was arrested, several kids fled the scene after seeing police. One neighbor told police that he saw teens being dropped off by parents. Over 75 beer cans were removed from the Saturday incident, but photos supplied by the Braintree Police Department show the aftermath of a Sunday night gathering.
Due to the incidents, police plan on performing patrols of the fields on a regular basis, with anyone found inside the field subject to arrest.
