Texas Man Hit With Fourth Drunken Driving Charge

A Texas man faces his fourth drunken driving after a vehicle stop Friday night.
Jonathan N. Delarosa, 35, of Salem City, Texas was also charged with a marked lanes violation when he was taken into custody by Braintree police.
At 8:17 p.m., police received a report of an intoxicated man in an alley next to a North Braintree Square business. According to the caller, the man had just left the alley and was driving towards South Braintree Square in a vehicle with registration from Illinois.

Officer Paul Hamilton was able to locate the vehicle a short distance away and observed it drifting in the lane, almost crossing over the solid yellow line, according to Braintree Police Chief Russ Jenkins.
During the traffic stop with Delarosa was placed under arrest.

Delarosa was not the only person arrested for drunken driving last weekend. Axel A. Cora, 40, of Holbrook was arrested early Sunday morning after he was observed traveling on Washington Street while following too closely behind the vehicle in front of him.
Officer Corey Chambers was traveling north on Washington Street when he observed two vehicles traveling south. The rear vehicle was less than a cars length behind the vehicle in front and was traveling in excess of the posted speed.
While continuing to monitor the two vehicles and turning around, Chambers also observed the rear vehicle crossing over the centerline.
Cora was placed under arrest after a motor vehicle stop and was charged with drunken driving, failure to keep within marked lanes, speeding, following too close and a license restriction violation.
