Multiple Injuries In Taunton House Explosion: Official
The public was asked to avoid the area of the house explosion.
TAUNTON, MA — A Taunton house exploded Wednesday morning, an official said.
"State Police fire investigators assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s office are responding to support Taunton FD with an origin and cause investigation following an explosion on Hart Street in Taunton," Department of Fire Services Public Information Officer Jake Wark said in an email.
"Preliminary information suggests multiple injured parties," Wark said.

"We are asking people to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to access the scene," he said.
A Department of Fire Services Rehab unit was responding to support firefighter health and safety at the scene, Wark said.
