Brookline Police Make Arrest in High Street Stabbings

Brookline, MA – Brookline Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbings of two young adults on High Street last Thursday night.

Police believe the stabbings occurred during an altercation between two groups of teens and young adults. Detectives identified the suspect after a weekend of collecting evidence and conducting interviews, and a warrant was issued, police said.

The suspect, who has not been identified, turned himself in to police Monday morning; he is charged with two counts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault with intent to murder, according to police.
