Brookline Woman Killed In Medford By Teen Driving On Drugs: DA
The 17-year-old only had his learner's permit when he drove into three pedestrians and a dog Sunday, according to authorities.

BROOKLINE, MA – A Brookline woman was killed in Medford when a teenager allegedly drove drunk late Sunday afternoon and hit the woman, two more people and a dog before crashing into a building.
Judith Moses, 64, of Brookline, was killed when the teenage driver drove into her near the corner of Spring and Emerald streets, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office.
The teen was driving near Emerald Street around 4:50 p.m. when he hit the woman, authorities said. He then continued down Spring Street and hit a 27-year-old man and 28-year-old woman with their dog, near Yeoman's Avenue before crashing into Citizen's Bank. Those two people remain hospitalized with serious injuries; their dog was killed.

The driver, a 17-year-old man, was arrested, according to Middlesex DA Marian Ryan and Medford Police Chief Leo Sacco, Jr.
He was charged with operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of an accident causing death, operating to endanger and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Investigators say the teen, who had a learner's permit but does not have a license, was under the influence of a drug at the time of the crash, according to the DA's office.

He was arraigned Monday in Cambridge Juvenile Court.
Moses lived in Chestnut Hill and was a real estate broker at Pathway Home realty in Newton.

Moses was a Realtor since 1986. And grew up in the greater Boston area. In addition to the Chestnut Hill home she owned a home in Rhode Island and had agents working with her company there, according to her web page. She was a member of the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce and the Brookline Rotary Club and was passionate about women in business. According to her LinkedIn profile she graduated from Winthrop High School and Simmons College.
